The new door

The metal handle near the top of the door will be removed once the real handle is functioning.

This is how the door opens.  Notice the raised wooden strip around the larger circle.   I plan on carving some Celtic design between the two circles.  

The black fabric to the left is our woodshed- every house should have one.
That is the extent of the wood working projects so far.  A man came over the other day and walked around the house trying to find a way to get in.  The gate on the porch was shut and he ended up at the front door and asked Greg to show him how to work the wooden door.  You really can't see the actual door opening.
