There are some incredible stone pieces near Stowe VT.  Greg and I took a motorcycle ride to Shelburne VT two weekends ago and saw some neat places along the way.

Shelburne Museum was created by Mrs Webb who collected buildings, horse drawn wagons,  the Ticonderoga,  a lighthouse and so much more in her efforts to preserve history of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This paddle wheel boat is the only one left of its kind.  They transported it by rail 2 miles to enter the museum.  It has beautiful wood work and artistic style inside.

This lighthouse was also from Lake Champlain and sits near the Ticonderoga.
Just looking at designs for a deck cover.

A couple of friends and I hiked Mt Will and looked over the valley towards Bethel.

Hiking friends are hard to find.

While in NY, my sister and I cut and put together a table runner.  She has a handy cutting board, and sewing machine.

Today I rode my bike to Bethel to buy the backing and filler.  I bought the material and rode home to find that I had left the quilt piece at the store.  So I will have another bike ride tomorrow to pick it up.

Dad was wondering what was taking us so long.

Carrie took us to her hops farm.  For a couple of years we have been hearing about all the work they have done to prepare the land, plant and harvest hops.  It is very impressive to see how tall the plants are and how full of hops they are.

For anyone who likes beer -- they need to know how much work goes into the production.
We do wish they well!!!
