Rich & I snuck away to Monhegan, no plans or reservations, just woke up and said lets go here! It was FABULOUS!

Had to split our heads to see the water!
we spent the night in Port Clyde and enjoyed the quiet, quaint little town
where we stayed
We took the morning ferry, beautiful weather
there was an astronomically low tides because of the full moon, so we had to get a pic, you can kind of see the moon behind my head...the boat ride was a little rough but nothing to write about ;)
a beautiful ship on the horizon I just loved it
we got there about 8:30am and had till 4 to hike, that is just about what we did!!!
except for a quick break
and then another beer break...lol...but seriously brewery on the island, we HAD to try it!
