So we have been wanting to do this for a while...this is the before.
and the project...tearing down the wall! well half of it ;)
Daddy did a great job and I did help, more than just taking pictures
So this is going to open up our home and allow lots of heat to go upstairs to the girls room!
We love this!! Now we are just waiting for the carpenter to come in and finish it all up for us!
Next project: the fireplace!! We had a last meeting with the insurance adjuster and it went really well. We are going to be able to do what we were hoping to replace our fireplace (that had a wicked chimney fire this February) but I am not giving away the plans, you will have to wait for pics =) I am hoping that it will be in the next month or so!
