Stepping back in time!

Wednesday I had the opportunity to join Estella's class to Norlands, living history ~1853
Estella was Eliza Fuller.

Mrs. Wentworth, Stella's teacher =)

During lunch, they gave a little history on each student. Eliza was a teacher who married at 40 and lived till about 75!! She had a long life, other students, not so lucky...It was really interesting (and a little disturbing) to hear the story of the real life children back in the day. Many died in young 20's and a couple didnt make it that long. But that was life back then.

Bean game, super cute!!! We will be playing that here =)
Stella did not like the feather pen, hopefully she'll appreciate her abundance of pens & pencils now =)

Stella had a little lamb
they got to act out a story, Hiram (in the hat) was the farmer, and Stella was the farmer's wife. At bed time she said, I was wondering if we were going to have to kiss...few, not this time ;)

She can pull off any look with that sweet face, but I LOVE this one!!!!

Happy Birthday Jason!!!!!
We wish you a great day on Wednesday,  April 24th and everyday.
It was great talking with you this weekend.

Happy Birthday  Becca !!!!!
We wish you a great day on Tuesday, April 23rd  and everyday.

Lavena and Fia taking a break.  Lavena is finishing another semester  at USM and happy for that.   They came all the way up to bring Brenna her birthday present.

My new sweat shirt- warm and cozy.  Thank you Lavena -- perfect fits

Lavena and Tucker came for camp over Saturday night.  We are always entertained by the three dogs playing.  Onyx who is the oldest one-  often gets out of the way.

This is our new project.  Since it is an unusual size we thought it would be fun to get creative with it.   It will have the illusion of being a round door.   Hopefully I will be able to do some carving on it this summer.  It is fun to come up with ideas and then see what happens over time.    We will keep you posted on the progress.

Garden View with 4 generations

Family

The girls found friends quickly when we walked into the Depot Restaurant

Brenna was really taken by this lady

I love train depots and this was a well kept one.  It had nice arch ways, ticket booth, wains coating,  old wooden floors, and pictures of it operating.  If anyone ever asks:   Holly is where JELLO was first made and it made the town rich.  The lady in the above picture ate a lot of jello.

Becca did not seem to happy this day!

A train even came by while we were there.

I bet you thought I put this in upside down.  Well this is a May pole that was hanging from the ceiling in the restruarnt.

The girls kept busy most of the time, but near the end they had enough sitting.

Estella was convinced that she wanted glasses.  Notice that she has two pairs on at once.

Beautiful Family of Tyrannosauruses

Mary Lou Who came with us.  The girls named her Mary Lou Who and it stuck through the whole time.  It did make everyone smile.

On the way home we stopped at a play ground so the girls could get out of the car.

I am not sure what made them so interested in wearing glasses, but they were both sure it was the a cool thing do.

Monday, Monday

What a gorgeous day Monday was!! we kept the kiddos out side for a long time! Chris said at some point we need to pick up sticks, so I said lets see who can get the most!! a little healthy competition did us good! They raced around and within minutes all the stickes were gone!! A sucker was the prize!!

Then we found 1 worm and the search was on for more!!

Amee and I took the kiddos to Kim & Jason's house (I had never seen it) what a great home! Then after a couple bad directions (lol Kim!!) and turning around here & there Amee and I finally found Adam & Lauren's new home!! My fingers were tired of taking pictures (which I regret now) but we had great visits at both places!! Again feeling so blessed by my wonderful family!! Everyone should experience the love we share!
And sweetly when we got home, Chris had dinner ready! What a great hubby! And we celebrated Brenna's b-day, yet again! that spoiled little lady!! Stella kept saying next time I want to go to NY on my birthday!!

I love group shots!
XOXO

We love you guys!!!
