As you may know both the Diaz girls did in fact come down with the chicken pox. After a phone call from the school saying the Stella was a threat to the children that were vaccinated against it, because she was not...if that makes any sense! Anyway she was going to have to miss 16 days of school. So my way of thinking was if she is missing school, at least she should get the damn chicken pox and get over it! So after much fighting and frustration on my part, we had no luck finding out how we could get them. So, heading up to take a shower and sure enough Stella had some spots!! Yay for us (in a weird way). Stella had been exposed in school and Brenna from her sister. They bot got it, and will now be naturally immune from getting it again! Brenna, the lucky one in this case had a few blisters on her scalp and about 6 on her bum, poor Stella is covered! Brenna bounced back amazingly well and as pictured is helping daddy bring in wood for the fire with their matching wheel-barrows!! (of course her's came from the dump!!)
Here is Stella being a good sport showing off her "Chicken Pops"
And this is my new adventure =)
I am 1 week into my 21 day challenge and feeling great! After reading a little about the challenges your body goes through to process what we eat, it really isnt that hard to get excited about this and give up the SAD (Standard American Diet) foods we eat.
