Aj + Keli = pizza lessons!

So Aj & Keli have been chilling out on the rock for the past two days getting the full relaxation of what vacation can be!! 

It has been such a pleasure having them around and my girls adore them, well at least Keli. Brenna is taking a little time warming up to AJ, where Stella fell in love the first time he threw her in the air into the pond =)

Tonight after lots of sun, Aj & Keli treated us and Mom (& Pop who backed out of the eating part) to dinner. They gave the girls lots of hands on learning and even mom and I learned a few new tricks!! 

Mom went out to check on Brenna and found her in her bumble bee costume playing with a dump truck...priceless

What a treat for me not to have to cook for a night!! And the other best part was they cleaned too! Who wouldn't want them as guests in their house!!! 

And the final product. 3 FABULOUS pizzas!

So as you know we went for a hike with mom, I just wanted to make a special note on the girls outfits! I just adore the way they dress!

Bren and I went off the path to check out this huge mushroom! Turns out it is a perfect seat =)

Momma on the ledge! She loves to hike! we are so happy that we can take her and that the girls are loving it too =) *just dont leave home with out a little chocolate incentive*

So filling up gas Rich saw this guy! He said man you dont see this every day, the guy looked at him and said you dont??? Rich was a little confused. 

Guy turned out to be pretty funny and let Rich hop right on for a pic! 

we had yet another house full of company this past weekend. Rich made an immediate new BF!

Looking through my camera I found this gem! Guess they were playing model while I was at work! I love digital!!!!

Brenna has made so many mile-stones this year, one being to jump off the rock!

This was most of our crew!! The guy  in the center, one of Rich's best friends was actually the best man @ our wedding!!

This is Jess who was the brave one and kept the kiddos quiet and entertained forever!! End result...a beautiful mess that was still all over her after vigorous scrubbing in the shower ;) 

That catches you up on us for a bit =) now we have Aj & Kelli up from NY! great to see them and catch up!! lots of laughs to be had...

Lavena and Tucker came up for the Bethel Farmer's Market today where he sells lobsters.

Lavena was studying for her exams until she needed to run to town.  

Miss Fia comes to visit and show Onxy and Little Buddy how to do tricks.  They have endless energy running up and down the bank to fetch a stick and play in the river.  

 Today we celebrated Tucker's Birthday.  We went to the Old Mill Tavern in Harrison where the food was very good and the company was fun.  

Happy Birthday Tucker and we wish you many many more. 

We are so sorry to hear that Gramma Dee passed away.  She is a wonderfully spirited lady who could bring out the fun in people.  She has blessed everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and now she is in the Lord's prepared home in heaven.   Our heart felt prayers go out to Melissa, Jason and all her family in this time of sorrow.   We only met Gramma Dee a few times, but she welcomed us into her home as if she knew us for years.   I will always remember her for her wild costume at Melissa and Jason's wedding during a special dance when she was wearing bright red shoes and bright red lipstick.    

 Our old swimming hole where it is so peaceful.

Becca, Richie, Estella and Brenna invited me to hike one of our favorite trails.

 The girls searched and searched and found a blueberry.  Brenna said, "Well the bears didn't get this one!"

 This trail is about 3 miles and Estella hiked about 2 + when she felt tired and just didn't want to hike any longer.  It took a square of chocolate bar to get her moving.  Notice she is still smiling.  She finished the whole trail and had energy to go swimming.

 Brenna hiked with gusto until the last little portion. 

Then we were off to the Sunday River Covered Bridge for a Subway sandwich.

Some of you will remember attending a beautiful wedding 9 years ago on this bridge.

Some of you may remember the squirt guns!!

To finish the outing we went to the Sunday River pool and hot tub where Richie's Uncle Vic was staying.   It was a wonderful way to spend a day.

Today we headed to the Summit Hotel @ Sunday River where Rich's Uncle Vic is staying for the week!

Her swimming skills have improved so much this year! It is so awesome to watch them play!

Brenna my "Fish #2" has also greatly improved, she is just a little nervous about opening her eyes under water =)
